Not always as easy as one thinks, eating sensibly is the right thing to do and that means not living on Mc Donald's or downing pints of coke watching your favourite movie and don't even bother with those one sided diets such as, jenny craig type diets, no protein or no carbs (alhtough reducing and restricting carbs is important!), you have and need a healthy balanced diet, for some that means sacrifices but that is one of the keys to getting toned flat abs.
Preferably you also want to spread your daily meals out, This has been a big factor in my energy levels and in reducing my overall body fat, even though I probably intake more food overall. I always avoid processed foods as much as possible and eat a good variety of foods throughout the day, usually whole meal, trying to avoid white flour and white sugar. Your main dietary needs are met by fruits, vegetables and whole grains but must also include high protein foods.
High protein food are another key to having flat ripped abs. High protein foods are needed for your body to to rebuild your muscles to a degree that will start make you proud to walk down the beach on a sunny day, Your body burns more calories from protein and is the missing key for many to have the perfect beach body, so always watch out and ensure that there is enough high quality protein.
Another key is keeping re hydrated, drinking plenty of fluids is another important bit of advise not to ignore, we all know to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day a lot more for hard training sessions, but how many follow this sage, not too many for certain.
Another key is consuming healthy fats and oils, such as those from nuts, avocado , seeds, fish, olives, etc. Essential fatty acids regulate the metabolism and are another missing key for many
Another key is also not too worry to much, learn to take things in your stride and accept that things wont always run smoothly, stress is the main cause of most illnesses and if one knows how to control this, well it is of major benefit, consider yoga, meditation or tai chi and other stress reduction exercises.
Find your missing keys and you are on your way to get rid of your belly fat and get ripped abs.
